"The women of WOM are fierce, funny, and spectacularly fertile.”- Amanda Huotari, Exec Artistic Director, Celebration Barn Theater

WOM is a force, a phenomenon, an entity that deserves your attention." - Cindy Lamar, Life Coach, Vocalist

An irreverent tribute to feminist performance art. Blending high energy movement, music, comedy and visual art the four women of WOM create an otherworldly womb-like atmosphere in which to explore young womanhood in the age of a declining patriarchy. It's a comedy show!

But, then again, WOM is not just a show: it's a movement. It's a word. It's punk rock freedom. And a call to liberation both personal and collective. And it’s bigger than us. Because it's not ok for the voiceless to speak through a microphone that's been designed to amplify just one pitch. It's time to re-invent the microphone, to redefine speech, to celebrate dance as voice. So we built a show about ourselves - about confusion and contradiction and nudity and freedom. A show that takes the two categories of "strength" and "weakness" and blows them apart until they're one large clear-blue sea of confused vitality.

WOM is every individual’s reminder: you are free.
